Practical Solutions for Kazakhstan’s Mature Fields

Up to 10 oil and gas operators will each propose one pilot asset for EOR implementation, which may include a field, reservoir, production area, or field operating unit.

The submission should include:

  • Geological model.
  • Dynamic reservoir model, if available.
  • Current status of field development, including an assessment of EOR measures, production enhancement activities and other well intervention events.
  • Forecast development performance and economic indicators.

EOR teams and experts will present:

  • EOR screening.
  • EOR implementation concept.
  • Field and lab study program.
  • Preliminary forecast of incremental oil production and recovery factor improvement based on analogue field cases.
  • Feasibility assessment.
